Kohli
PM Narendra Modi has accepted Indian
cricket team captain Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge. The Prime Minister posted
a tweet regarding the same earlier today promising to post a video soon. PM
Modi is known for his love of yoga and will likely be posting a video on the

It should be noted that two days ago
Information and Broadcasting minister Rajyawardhan Singh Rathore had urged
Indians to stay fit under his #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign. After posting a
video of doing push-ups, the young minister had challenged Virat Kohli, Olympic
medalist Saina Nehwal and bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan to post a video
of their fitness routine.
Kohli had accepted the challenge and posted
a video of him on his twitter handle performing a lower abdomen exercise called
spider planks. He had also in return challenged his wife Anushka Sharma, cricketer
Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Narendra Modi to post their fitness videos which PM
Modi has accepted.
Hrithik Roshan replied with a video of him
cycling a bike and asking all Indians to try to be fit by walking, jogging or
running. Anushka Sharma, Bollywood actress and Kohli’s wife also accepted the
challenge and posted a video of lifting weight and asked Squash player Dipika
Palliwal and actor Varun Dhawan to join the challenge.
Padmavati actress Deepika Padukone, who was
challenged by badminton player PV Sindhu, posted of video of running and
challenged sports personalities Mithali Raj, Rani Rampal and Aditi Ashok.
Rathore's campaign has garnered positive
reviews from many Bollywood and sports personalities including superstar Salman
Khan, Tiger Shroff, Olympic medalist Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza and Babita Phogat.
Union minister Kiren Rijiju posted a video of exercising in his office and
